Centennial Celebration in Baltimore

Hadassah's 100th Birthday
was celebrated in Baltimore on Sunday, March 4, 2012

Honoring Marlene Greenebaum

and raising funds for the
Marlene Greenebaum Multidisciplinary Breast Center
at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem

Thanks to chairs, Sarajane Greenfeld, Michele and Debbie Brill -- part of a 4-generation Hadassah family -- and the entire Centennial Celebration Committee for a truly memorable event featuring the music of Three of a Kind,
and special "guest performance"
by Michael Greenebaum.

The children in attendance decorated crowns for Purim, made birthday cards for Hadassah, and received balloon animals while getting their faces painted. Everyone enjoyed the scrumpuous cupcakes as they watched the slide show of 100 Years of Hadassah in Baltimore.

Hadassah’s founder, Henrietta Szold, was originally from Baltimore. The daughter of Rabbi Benjamin and Sophia Schaar Szold, Henrietta’s father was the first rabbi of Temple Oheb Shalom. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rabbi Fink, Ken Davidson and the entire Oheb Shalom congregation for helping and supporting us in commemorating this important milestone.
