- Dozens were injured this morning when a bus transporting Palestinian schoolchildren and a truck collided on wet roads in northern Jerusalem. MDA and Police were alerted. Fire engines rushed to the scene near the Hizme village checkpoint that separates Jerusalem and the West Bank. Dead victims were removed from the burning vehicles.

- In response to President Obama's reaffirmation today that all women will have access to coverage for contraceptives, Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, expressed the following statement:
- American CEOs get an Israeli medical education in their visit to the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower.
- Yesterday at Hadassah-Ein Kerem, we hosted a delegation of 50 CEO's of major medical centers in the U.S. and Canada for an in-depth briefing and tour of our facilities. Their visit in Israel is sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, and the Israeli National Institute for Health Policy.

- Today, in honor of Tu B'Shvat, Hadassah reaffirms its commitment to the environment and proudly announces its participation in the Jewish Energy Covenant Campaign. Hadassah National President Marcie Natan was one of 50 Jewish leaders—from across the political and religious spectrum—to join the campaign earlier this week by signing the "Jewish Environment and Energy Imperative" declaration.

- Howard Jacobson To Receive Harold U. Ribalow Prize
- Hadassah Magazine hasannounced that this year’s Harold U. Ribalow Prize will be awarded to Howard Jacobson, who wrote The Finkler Question, published in 2010. Every year, Hadassah Magazine honors an author who has created an outstandingwork of fiction on a Jewish theme. The Finkler Question also wasawarded the 2010 Man Booker Prize.
