At the 95th Hadassah National Convention, Cincinnati Chapter was well represented by members Carol Ann Schwartz, Central States President, Bobbi Handwerger, Cincinnati Chapter Co-President, and Gayna and Jeff Bassin. In addition, Cincinnati member Bonnie Ullner was a featured speaker and Brenda Shonfield attended on Monday. The theme was "360°
of Innovation: Hadassah and Israel", as Hadassah prepares to celebrate its centennial in 2012.

Central States delegates Rachel Belenker (Columbus), Jane S. Chaput (Lexington), and Bobbi Handwerger (Cincinnati), at the 4 p.m. Welcome program on Sunday, July 25th.
The Fred Astaire Dancers of Boca Raton entertained the delegates at the end of the Welcoming program. They invited everyone to join in and dance.
Carol Ann Schwartz danced with the other delegates after the Welcome program.

At the Region Dinner at Nando's Restaurant on Sunday night, Region awards were presented before the meal. Here, Carol Ann Schwartz hands to Bobbi Handwerger an award for Cincinnati Chapter, the "Central States Award for Bringing Back 'Coffee Talk/Decaf Cafe' Program Series".
On Monday, Bonnie Ullner was a guest speaker at the Plenary: "The Power of Hadassah Medical Organization". She spoke about how Hadassah Hospital saved her daughter's life last summer.

Monday Night at Comedy Central featured comedian Joel Chasnoff, who riffed on his Jewish upbringing and read portions of his book, The 188th Crybaby Brigade, about the year he served in the IDF.
Joel Chasnoff signed a copy of his book for Jeff Bassin.
Brenda Shonfield was also there on Monday, with Carol Ann Schwartz.
The Israel Scouts performed at the Closing Breakfast on Sunday morning.
