Coffee Talk 5-9-11

Hadassah Coffee Talk was held at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Diane Yasgur.  Her mother, Ruth Stregevsky, facilitated a lively reading of excerpts from How to Talk Jewish by Jackie Mason.  Everyone took a turn reading a page or two of photocopied excerpts that gave humorous definitions of Yiddish words.  Tobe Snow, Coffee Talk Chair, spoke afterward about several Hadassah programs and fundraisers, offering Vasu vases and Hadassah greeting cards for sale.  Everyone enjoyed the entertaining and illuminating program, as well as the delicious refreshments of yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bagels, brownies and carrot cake.

Coffee Talk will take a break over the summer and resume in September.
