Ice Cream Social 8-28-11

Sunday, August 28, 2011
2 - 4 p.m.

Cincinnati Chapter of Hadassah held an Ice Cream Social on Sunday afternoon, August 28th, at Loveland Bed and Breakfast to welcome new and old members to Hadassah.  Everyone enjoyed the assorted Graeter's Ice Cream with various toppings, as well as fresh strawberries, brownies and different drinks.  Elece Kovel was the program chair.

Co-President Sharon Casper welcomed everyone to the event, and Tobe Snow spoke a bit about the history of Hadassah and all the extraordinary things that Hadassah does.  She brought a cardboard cutout of Henrietta Szold, the founder of Hadassah, and passed out sprigs of rosemary to smell, to remind everyone of the rosemary bushes planted on Henrietta's grave.  Sharon gave gifts to all the new members to welcome them to Hadassah.
