First and foremost, Happy New Year! We hope that you've had a wonderful holiday season filled with the joys of family, friends, and all things good (we believe it's never too late for well wishes!)
The Denver Chapter of Hadassah started 2014 with a slightly different plan - delving into strategic planning. This type of planning will provide our chapter with a roadmap to the successful achievement of our goals. In January, we held a dinner session with non-profit professional Ben Streltzer. Ben discussed strategic planning and helped us determine our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, helping us develop our Denver Chapter goals and objectives. This will strengthen our current and future leadership, improve our member participation, achieve our goals, but perhaps most importantly, broaden our membership base, with an actively participating group of passionate and devoted women.
This year, we'll see old events revisited and reinvented - a fun Movie Membership event in March, a visit in May from Hadassah National President Marcie Natan, book clubs, classes, and so much more. The Denver Chapter has something for everyone, and we would love to see each and every one of our members participating in some way, attending an event or one of our open meetings, volunteering for a committee. Get involved, and we are sure you'll be glad that you did! Please watch for our E-blasts, postcards, and newsletters to find out what amazing things your Hadassah chapter is doing. We hope you'll be inspired to join us!
