A Taste of Sukkot - Tuesday, October 14, 6:30-8:30pm 

Join us for Shatil's "A Taste of Sukkot" on Tuesday Oct 14th, 6:30 - 8:30 PM in an Upper West Side sukkah, location to be provided upon RSVP. 

Come prepared to share dairy/veggie/pareve potluck nibbles and recipes; we'll eat and schmooze in the sukkah, weather permitting, with an indoor rain location as back up, just in case.

Note: Bring one or two items, enough to share for approx. 6-8 people, along with copies of your recipe(s) to share!

Not a cook? No time to cook? Simply pick up a bottle of kosher wine, or a bakery treat for dessert, and join us.

While there is no cover charge for this event, we will be selling raffle tickets for door prizes and donations will be accepted.  Hadassah cards will also be available for sale.

Book Club - Tuesday, November 11th @ 7:00pm (new date and time) 

 And Once We Were Brothers – by Ronald Balson (historical fiction of one brother accused of war crimes set in Nazi-occupied Poland to a Chicago courtroom).

Come prepared to discuss potential 2015 book selections! Cost for 2015 will remain same as in past @ $36 for annual membership (bi-monthly meetings). For non-book-club-members, $7 /session -- all to benefit Hadassah (Youth Aliyah). Classes began after the High Holidays.  Cost $72 (members); $100 (non-members/ includes one year of annual membership). Hadassah membership is $36 per year and life membership is $212.

New students are always welcome and your first class is FREE!
