A Small Southern Chapter with a Big Heart

The Spartanburg chapter of Hadassah is composed of 99 members, some of whom are life members that have moved out of town. We are a very close knit group that is located in a small South Carolina community with a Jewish population of about one hundred and forty families.

We have several annual fund-raising events that our community has come to expect and enjoy. These include: an "Attic Treasure Sale," a Donor Event (usually consisting of cocktails, a hors d'oeuvres buffet and a musical program), and a Las Vegas Night with a barbecued brisket dinner. These events usually help us to reach our annual quota while providing a fun, relaxing evening for our community.

We are fortunate to have a core group of very dedicated ladies who work very hard to make our chapter a success. We are always looking for new members to join in on the fun and satisfaction of doing something so meaningful for Israel, with the added benefit of having opportunities for personal growth and lasting friendships.
