RECENT EVENTS

DREIDEL EXCHANGE

Our community-wide Dreidel Exchange was a huge success! Special thanks to Mindy Lawton and Simone Horvitz for organizing an evening filled with fun, friendship, and lots of unique dreidels!  Check out some of the pictures in our photo gallery, so if you weren't able to attend this year, you will know what to expect next year.  This event is sure to be a yearly Hanukkah Happening! Thanks also to all the area sisterhoods who joined with us to make this such fun.

NORTH CAROLINA MUSEUM OF ART - LUNCHEON & REMBRANDT EXHIBIT TOUR

Thank you to Christine Molesky at the NC Museum of Art for helping to arrange a wonderful day at the museum.  Thirty of us had lunch at the Iris Cafe.  Three local restaurants donated gift certificates that we auctioned off after lunch.  It was fun, we raised some money for Hadassah, and three lucky people will get to enjoy their winning!  Thank you to Zest Cafe & Home Art, Weinberg's - THE Delicatessen, and New York Bagel & Deli for their generous contributions.

Following lunch, we toured the amazing Rembrandt Exhibit led by very knowledgeable docents. It is definitely a must-see while it is still here in Raleigh.

GIFT WRAP AT CRABTREE VALLEY MALL

Thanks to every single person who volunteered their time at our annual Gift Wrap at Crabtree Valley Mall.  Once again, your help made this year's fundraiser a success.  It couldn't be done without you!

Special thanks to Aliza Bricklin for all her hard work in organizing, ordering supplies, setting up, staffing, and coordinating.  Once again, she did an extraordinary job.

Special thanks also to Sid & Rachel Strauss for their hard work setting up the gift wrap booth, organizing gift wrap rolls and stands, gift boxes, bows, ribbon, gift bags, etc., etc., etc.....even for bringing a table from home for the cash register!
