Dear Chattanooga Chapter of Hadassah,
I am delighted to help lead the efforts of our Chattanooga Chapter and here’s why.
Bringing together our community’s fabulous women for song, spirituality, and sharing has always been my passion. It is my hope, and goal, to rally our gifted, talented, and caring women and families for this organization that is passionate about helping others and making our world a better place. Programs generated over the years and recently bring women (and family members) of all ages and backgrounds together to enjoy learning, socializing, and generating a modern Hadassah that engages ‘people of valor’ who are sources for tikum olam, healing, and community service here, in Israel, and world-wide.
Whether it is making a meal for residents at the Room in the Inn, offering programs in health and wellness, or fostering Jewish renewal and continuity…we are making a difference locally. On a global scale, Hadassah campaigns not only advance life-saving medical research, environmental stewardship, and programs that provide for underserved people in Eretz Yisrael,it enables the sharing of this technology, medical best practices, and health education worldwide. Trauma Specialists and teams from Hadassah Hospital are among the first responders
at natural disasters wherever they may occur. Hadassah’s partnership with the Jewish National Fund has transformed the desert into an agricultural and conservation wonder. And even more importantly, Hadassah is dedicated to the continuation of our shared Jewish values and experiences through youth summer camps, college study in Israel, conferences, and leadership training.
We realize that there are many organizations throughout the community that need our dollars, time, and talent.
Still, Hadassah needs to be one of them! Join us as we help continue Henrietta Szold’s dream of making a better world through healthcare, community service, and the continuation of Jewish ideals.
