Welcome to the Columbus Chapter of Hadassah! > Message from the President
Hadassah Columbus Ohio
Hadassah is the largest Jewish women's organization in the world. Hadassah Founder Henrietta Szold began creating "herstory" in 1912, and that's when we Hadassah women began living our legacy. We inherited a commitment to health care, education and advocacy, and a passion to enrich the lives of Jews in the U.S., Israel and around the world.
Our members are married, single, in the workplace, at home . . . discovering bonds of friendship and learning about their world while supporting Israel. Israel depends on Hadassah's support for strength. Working together, the 1200+ members of the Columbus Chapter of Hadassah make a difference!
Committed to the Land of Israel based on the renaissance of the Jewish people in its historic homeland, Hadassah promotes the unity of the Jewish people. Hadassah donors support Hadassah Medical Organization, Youth Aliyah/Children at Risk, Hadassah College Jerusalem and the Jewish National Fund. Each of these projects represents an opportunity for fulfilling the most sacred of Jewish value, Tikkun Olam, saving the world.
Please join us at our programs throughout the year. Our calendar provides details about our upcoming events. We welcome friends, members and prospective members. Please join us as we continue to strengthen Hadassah's mission of tzedakah, Zionism, health, advocacy and empowerment.
