Part of Hadassah Chicago Chapter (HCC), Ariel was started in 1998 and currently has over 160 members. As one of the Young Women/Young Leader groups of HCC, Ariel serves women who live primarily in the Highland Park, Deerfield and Northbrook areas as well as other northern Chicago suburbs.

Ariel is home to a diverse group of women from a variety of Jewish backgrounds.


Ariel holds events primarily on weekday evenings and weekends, and strives for a balance between social, educational and fundraising activities. They also try to include family and couples’ events in their programming.


Events have included:

Krav-Maga, Cooking Demonstrations, Beading Night, Membership Tea, Planting Event, Speaker Events, Spa Night, Noah’s Ark stuffed animal workshop at a nursing home, Fashion Show, Bagels and Bingo and more!

Hadassah Heals: Intergenerational "Mitzvah" Event

Bring the entire family for a hands-on event. Participants will assemble first aid kits that will later be sold to raise funds for equipment at the Children's Pavillion at Hadassah Hospital. Additional components will be age-appropriate demonstrations on "what to do in case of...", arts and crafts projects, visit by a medical clown, and an on-site ambulance.
