Save the date:  Breast Strokes, Hadassah Bares All for A.R.T. (Awareness, Research, and Treatment)

The women of Greater Atlanta Hadassah are raising money for groundbreaking breast cancer research at Hadassah Medical Center, in an innovative and unforgettable way.
On Sunday, October 26, 2014 thirty volunteer models, some of whom are breast cancer survivors, will have their torsos artistically painted by local female artists. When these paintings are completed, female photographers will take amazing photos of them from neck to navel. The result: spectacular works of art! These photos will then be made into a large artistic poster and will be available for purchase at our BIG REVEAL, an A.R.T. Gala event and auction on February 28, 2015 at the Westside Cultural Arts Center.  For more details, visit the Breast Strokes webpage.
Once again this year, the Greater Atlanta Hadassah Chapter will be a Community Partner of the MJCCA Book Festival. The festival will run from November 1 – 19,  2014 and our Chapter will be the “Partner” of the author event with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (Reinventing American Health Care) on Thursday, November 13 at 7:30 PM. When purchasing Book Festival tickets (series tickets or individual tickets to our November 13th Partner event) please use the applicable Greater Atlanta Hadassah coupon code! The code for purchasing tickets to our November 13 Community Partner event is GAH.
