Atlanta Hadassah Chapter Celebrates; Former Volunteer Nurse Florence Nathanson Will be Honored
(Atlanta Jewish News.com) Greater Atlanta Hadassah (GAH) will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Hadassah, the largest women’s, largest Zionist and largest Jewish membership organization in the United States, on Feb. 26, with an event at Greenfield Hebrew Academy featuring chef Tina Wasserman, author of the cookbook “Entrée to Judaism: A Culinary Exploration of the Jewish Diaspora.” Read more>>
Ketura Hanukkah Mitzvah Event December 18, 2011:
The residents of Huntcliff Summit were treated to a Hanukkah celebration, replete with arts and crafts projects for residents and guests, latkes and other delicious refreshments, and music by the Baal Shem Tones. Many residents invited children and grandchildren. The event was coordinated by Ketura Board member, Sherry Hersh. An article and photos were published in the Atlanta Jewish Times January 13 issue.

(3/14/2011 Atlanta, GA) Greater Atlanta Hadassah invites the community to a health education program, “Jews, Genes, and Cancer: Does hereditary breast or ovarian cancer run in your family?” This FREE program will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2:15 – 4:30 PM at Congregation Beth Shalom (5305 Winters Chapel Road, Dunwoody, GA 30360).
