HMO Cards and Certificates: Help support Hadassah’s great work by purchasing greeting cards and certificates for all occasions. We will mail it for you too! You can also purchase JNF trees through Hadassah. Rita Goldstein is ready to help you at 770-509-3354 or email@example.com.
Ketura members recently received a packet of five assorted greeting cards, which are appropriate for many occasions. They offer a thoughtful way to keep in touch with family and friends. A minimum donation of $10 for the cards received will benefit Hadassah projects, and is a meaningful way to give tzedakah.
Knit and Crochet: Members create knitted and crocheted pieces and collect toiletries, women’s and children’s clothing, household items, and toys for the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children, Inc. on the first Tuesday evening of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. when in session. Knit and Crochet is taking a break for the summer and will begin meeting again in September. Members from other Greater Atlanta Hadassah groups are welcome to join us. For more information on creating and/or donating items, please contact chairperson, Reba Herzfeld at 770-394-3731 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

KETURA HADASSAH INSTALLS NEW BOARD: On the evening of December 5, 2013 members and guests of the Greater Atlanta Hadassah’s Ketura Group convened at the Mirage Restaurant to celebrate the installation of 2014 officers. Sheila Dalmat, a former Ketura president and group advisor, performed the installation of the new board headed by Annie Kohut, president, in a candle-lighting ceremony. Other highlights of the evening included a framed certificate and gifts from the board presented by Annie Kohut to Sybil Ginsburg, outgoing co-president, and recognition of Ketura’s newest Keepers of the Gate, a special Hadassah giving designation. Sue and Alan Rothstein were honored as Keepers Angels for issuing a matching gift challenge for new and increased level Keepers of the Gate in memory of Alan's mother, Leona Rothstein. The event was coordinated by Dorothy Scherr.
Hanukkah Celebration for Huntcliff Summit - Dec. 1, 2013: In collaboration with the staff at Huntcliff Summit, Ketura held its annual Hanukkah party for the residents of Huntcliff Summit. Lively Hanukkah music along with Broadway and Jewish favorites presented by songstress, Hani Stempler, and accompanist, Judy Boehm, entertained the guests. Of course, the occasion would not have been complete without the lighting of the candles followed by refreshments, which included latkes and jelly donut holes!
