What is the Metulla Chinese Auction??
Well, you all know the game show “Let’s Make a Deal”…  "Monty, I'll take box number 1." No worries… at Metulla’s Chinese Auction our mystery boxes don't contain a "zonk" item. "What's in the box?" you ask. Well, we are not inclined to say, but we will give you a hint of what’s inside before you start to bid on it! Without a doubt, if you are the one going away with the box, you are going away a winner and all for a good cause.  For a very reasonable starting bid, you will have the opportunity to bid on fun, fantastic, luxury items. Don't miss your chance to run away with a steal, all in good fun, and at the same time supporting a great cause. Surprises abound at the Metulla Chinese Auction. We will have wonderful gifts that you, as attendees, have brought to be auctioned as well as tickets to your favorite theater shows and gift certificates to popular local eateries. There is something for everyone, so come join the fun while supporting a great cause.  We will be serving a gourmet vegetarian and fish multi course Chinese Feast of a dinner, too. Please bring a NEW wrapped gift valued of at least $20.00 or more. Attach a short poem or limerick giving a clue as to what is inside. Don’t tell us exactly what’s in it…just give us a hint. Please bring the kind of gift you might want to receive yourself. You can go along with a friend and purchase a joint gift if you’d like. We will auction off these wonderful prizes to benefit Hadassah.
