Hadassah believes in the power of women for Israel. Together, we can make a powerful impact by sharing positive stories about people coming together in Israel. Hadassah has been advancing the shared society concept since its creation in 1912. Today the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) serves 1 million patients a year, regardless of race, religion, or nationality, and HMO doctors, nurses and staff work together, Arab and Jewish, as one, building bridges to peace through medicine. HMO is the only medical organization to have been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
