OUR GLOBAL IMPACT
- that’s the power of Women for Israel.
WHO WE ARE
Kindra CooperAdvocate Extraordinaire
Mix a Jewish Seattle lawyer with two master’s degrees—one in bioethics, another in public administration—and you get powerhouse advocate Kindra Cooper. After joining the board of directors for Hadassah’s Seattle chapter, Cooper dove right into service as their Advocacy Committee Chair.
Within months, Cooper was representing Hadassah at state level Jewish advocacy events including a panel discussion aimed at community education, and a Jewish women’s advocacy training.
Linda GoldsteinPassionate Philanthropist
Linda S. Goldstein inherited a passion for giving. "My parents…met at a Jr. Hadassah dance, fell in love, and married two weeks later," said Goldstein. "I wouldn’t be here if not for Hadassah!"
"Hadassah has given me a platform to promote Zionism. I’ve been educated about women’s health issues and how to advocate for change. The feeling I get from contributing to Hadassah with my time and professional expertise, as well as philanthropically, is best described by a quote from Hillel: ‘If I am not for myself who will be for me? But if I am only for myself who am I? And if not now, when?"
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Every action has an impact and every dollar brings us closer to fulfilling our promises to the medical, humanitarian and advocacy efforts we support here in the US, Israel and around the globe.
You want to make an impact? That's what we do. Come put your passion to work, side by side with like-minded women. We Got the Power.
Hadassah women turn Jewish values into action, working to build a healthier, safer and more equitable world. We advocate to advance the health and well-being of women and for Israel’s security and stronger US-Israel relations.
