A Happy Passover 2020 for Ilan Chaim

Ilan Chaim, one of The Jerusalem Post’s leading editorial writers, had been waiting for over two years for a life-saving kidney transplant. There were 857 others also waiting, and being 70 years of age made it more difficult for Ilan to find a donor.

Last month, however, the death of a member of his extended family, also age 70, provided Ilan with the miracle he had been hoping for—brought to fruition at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem. Read Ilan’s full story by Barbara Sofer, Hadassah’s Israel Director of Public Relations.
