Letter from Hadassah Southern Nevada
Chapter President, Julie Ostrovsky
My Hadassah Sisters and Friends,
I hope this message finds you safe and healthy.
What we are experiencing in our city and around the world is very troublesome, but please remember you have a community here in Hadassah Southern Nevada. We are available to talk on the phone, email, text and drop off groceries and necessities if need be.
Please reach out and let me know you are okay and how we can help. I know many of the Congregations are streaming weekly Shabbat services and morning minyans. If you need assistance logging in to one of these services, let me know and we will find an expert to help get you get access. No one should feel alone during this time of separation. Even though we might not be able to meet for coffee at the corner shop, we can enjoy a cup via Facetime.
Please check in on you friends and neighbors and let’s remember to be kind, be safe, and be healthy.
Now, go wash your hands and keyboards.

July 31, 2020 - October 31, 2020
Hadassah National Convention is Online Highlights from Our Annual National Meeting More than 700 leaders from around the country came together online for Hadassah's Annual National Meeting this July. The takeaway? As part of the Hadassah community, we have so much to be proud of. And we’re not the only ones who think so. Senator Jacky Rosen -- the third Jewish woman to serve in the US Senate -- praised our efforts in a special session. “For over a century, Hadassah, one of the largest Jewish organizations worldwide, has championed causes such as women’s health and empowerment, combating anti-Semitism, and supporting a safe and secure Israel,” she said, adding, “I’m proud to have partnered with Hadassah on important legislation.”
