The Ketura group of women reside mainly from metro Atlanta's Northern Arc including: Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Doraville, Northeast Atlanta, East Cobb, and Buckhead. Ketura projects include Mitzvah Day, knitting and crocheting for a local women’s shelter, theater nights, cooking classes, and monthly day and evening book groups. Evening, Sunday functions and some weekdays. All Ages.

Daytime Group:  

Meetings take place every other month from 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 a.m. at the Sandy Springs Diner, 8612 Roswell Rd., Sandy Springs 30350. After the meeting, those who wish may stay to have lunch together. Contact Edie Friedman at ediee5@att.net for more information.

Meetings are currently on hold due to COVID-19. We will let you know when they will resume.

The next book will be Weight of Ink by Rachel Kadish.

Hadassah Cards

Help support Hadassah’s great work all year long by purchasing greeting cards and certificates for all occasions. Ketura has a large assortment of beautiful cards and certificates to sell, including birthday, anniversary, Bar Mitzvah, new baby, mazel tov and condolence cards to name a few. Knit & Crochet

Knit and Crochet: Knit/Crochet meetings are currently postponed due to precautions around COVID-19. Normally, the group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 until 9 or 9:30 p.m., locations TBA. Any beginner or experienced knitter or crocheter is welcome to join the group. Hats, scarves, shawls, slippers, lap blankets, sweaters, mittens, socks – we welcome your handiwork. It must be machine washable and dryable only – no wool. Items are donated to the Mary Hall Freedom House and various hospices throughout the Atlanta area.
