Come see what Hadassah Nashville has been up to!

From our President

Merle Born

I am pleased to have the opportunity to guide Nashville Hadassah during the next 2 years with the help of Deana Goldstein, who will serve as Operational Vice President.

Nashville Hadassah is just one little part of a formidable organization with roots that go back to 1912. Say “Hadassah” to any researcher in the medical field and they will know of our groundbreaking research into embryonic stem cell use, ALZ, breast and colon cancer, diabetes, macular degeneration, MS, ALS, and Parkinson’s disease. Concerned about the clash between Arabs and Jews in Israel? Rest assured Hadassah Hospital treats and employs all peoples no matter their religion, race or nationality.

Say “Hadassah” to our representatives and their staffs in Washington, D.C. and they are all aware of what we do and what our advocacy focus is. We have staff advocating for issues that affect Israel, women, children, health, and common sense gun regulations.

Say “Hadassah” to disadvantaged youth in Israel and they may live in one of our Youth Aliyah Villages. Our Young Judea camps and programs foster Jewish identity here and abroad.

Nothing is accomplished at Hadassah without your financial support. We hope as you learn more about Hadassah, we will be deserving of your philanthropy. Don’t forget that you can leave money to Hadassah in the form of a bequest from your will or trust or name Hadassah as a beneficiary of your life insurance or IRA.

We hope you will check our website and Facebook page often to learn of upcoming programs. If you are not receiving emails, please check that we have your correct address and that wanted emails are not going to spam.

Deana and I are eager to involve you! Please contact us directly by phone or email and let us know what interests you and where your talents lie. It takes a team to fulfill the dream!
