Welcome to Hadassah Greater Detroit, which includes members in Greater Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Toledo, Greater Pittsburgh and Greater Cleveland. We have 8,400 members, including a Nurses and Allied Health Professionals Council and an Attorneys and Judges Council. We are an active, engaged community who work together to further the lifesaving work of Hadassah’s hospitals in Israel and empower women in the US, Israel and around the world. Every year, we hold the Judi Schram Annual Meeting with a celebrity guest speaker, boutiques and a luncheon. Every November, we have a huge rummage sale that is always a successful team effort.
There are many fun, informative activities, book clubs, discussion groups and Zionism programs. We know you’ll connect with us and find your passions. We would love to include you as a member. Make sure we have your email address by providing it to midwest@hadassah.org. Join us today.
Welcome to Hadassah Greater Detroit, one of the first Hadassah chapters in the country! We are a diverse group of women from Michigan, Northern Ohio and extending as far east as Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Wheeling, West Virginia. Our chapters offer a variety of programs and opportunities for engagement, connection and building lifelong friendships. We pride ourselves on making a difference in our local communities, Israel and the world at large through our support of the organization and commitment to tikkun olam.

Please join us as we enjoy a delicious brunch and meet Hadassah National President, Carol Ann Schwartz. She will speak on updates on Hadassah Medical Organization and heart health.
Join us in Ann Arbor for a fun and social morning of playing Mah Jongg and making new friends. All levels are welcome. A light breakfast and coffee will be served. If you have a Mah Jongg set, please bring it to the event.
Join us monthly as we partner with Knitted Knockers, a nonprofit organization that supplies knitted or crocheted breast prostheses for women who have had breast cancer and undergone mastectomy or lumpectomy, as we Knit for Knockers.
Join us as Gary Sikorski, director of Community-Wide Security for the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, provides practical guidance to help participants prepare for and respond to an active shooter situation.
Join us for a conversation with Eden Grinshpan, chef, author, and host of Top Chef Canada, and "Yenta Girl" Samantha Foon. The event will honor Hadassah Greater Detroit Past President Joan Chernoff-Epstein and recognize Eva L. Feldman, MD, PhD.
Join Robbie Terman, Director of the Leonard N. Simons Jewish Community Archives at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, for a warm and engaging journey through Detroit’s Jewish history, told through the synagogues that helped shape the city
