Consisting of four regions that cover several states as well as Washington DC, the Hadassah Mid-Atlantic geographic area stretches from Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New Jersey. Each of these regions has a distinctive personality that their various chapters tap into and reflect. Together, we work tirelessly to further Hadassah’s vital healing work in the US, Israel and around the world. Our volunteer leaders work with a supportive team of professionals who share resources and facilitate communications. We are a group of savvy, smart, charismatic women (and male Associate allies). The many programs, events, conferences and activities in our area illustrate our Jewish values, high ideals and commitment to Hadassah’s important mission.
In The Latecomer, Jean Hanff Korelitz takes on complicated family dynamics, infidelity, race, class, religion, guilt, art and real estate. The result is a sparkling novel that is in essence satirical and wise, in style old and new.
