Consisting of four regions that cover several states as well as Washington DC, the Hadassah Mid-Atlantic geographic area stretches from Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New Jersey. Each of these regions has a distinctive personality that their various chapters tap into and reflect. Together, we work tirelessly to further Hadassah’s vital healing work in the US, Israel and around the world. Our volunteer leaders work with a supportive team of professionals who share resources and facilitate communications. We are a group of savvy, smart, charismatic women (and male Associate allies). The many programs, events, conferences and activities in our area illustrate our Jewish values, high ideals and commitment to Hadassah’s important mission.
Join Evolve in Greater Washington DC for our new book and brunch series on Sunday, every other month. We will discuss books that are Jewish themed, fiction and non-fiction, by Jewish women authors.
Jewish author and podcaster Meryl Ain returns to speak to Hadassah to give us strategies to pass along family memories. She also highlights passing along family memories through research: letters, home movies, audio recordings, interviews, and more.
The Camden County Chapter is hosting an evening of education and fun. Members will perform a humorous rendition of the Passover story and guests will have an opportunity to play a Bingo-like game called "MATZO".
