The Dallas Chapter of Hadassah encompasses a large geographic area stretching from around the Jewish Community Center in Dallas northwards to Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Allen and McKinney.
We welcome all newcomers to our area and invite you to join our chapter. You're welcome to start your own groups within our chapter as well. Our meetings are conveniently held at various times from mornings to afternoons to evenings.
Our programs and offerings run a wide gamut: study groups, book clubs, entertainment programs, Mahjong sessions, a health and medical group, and a lunchtime group. We also enjoy lively discussions on a wide variety of subjects throughout the year.
I look forward to leading the amazing ladies and Associates who are members of the Dallas Chapter. Our chapter has a rich history of programming and engagement, and I have a strong group of leaders continuing the charge. We are excited to be part of Hadassah and help advance the vital work that we do in research, healthcare, youth programming and education. By joining our Dallas Hadassah community, you become part of a global movement.
This group meets once a month, usually on a Monday morning at the JCC, with an interesting speaker or program. You are welcome to stay for a kosher hot lunch at the JCC for a nominal fee.
Our members include health care professionals and wellness practitioners, and we welcome all members and male Associates who have a strong commitment to health and social action initiatives. We meet on Sundays at 11am to focus on health care, activism and ways to enact proactive change, accompanied by good food and community. We meet in various homes and everyone brings their own brunch item.
Members of all professions are welcome. We meet for happy hour at a local restaurant for introductions and a business card exchange.
We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at a different restaurant in North Dallas, Richardson or Plano. Everyone orders their own meal. Stay connected with friends and make new ones too! Our chairman is Susie Avnery.
We're forming this new group to meet and walk our dogs together. We welcome suggestions of dog parks and places to meet. Contact us.
We meet on the fourth Thursday morning of each month. Marlene Franklin is our coordinator.
We meet quarterly, in the evening, on the second Wednesday of March, June, September and December. Jo Zeffren is our coordinator.
We meet every two months on a weekday afternoon. Susan Turner is our coordinator.
