Jerusalem — The Hadassah Medical Organization, the Jerusalem-based hospital system of Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, proudly announces that 16 of its physicians and scientists have received grants from the Israel Science Foundation (ISF), Israel's leading organization supporting basic scientific research.
ISF grants enable Israeli researchers to pursue groundbreaking discoveries, strengthen academic collaborations and advance the future of medicine.
Four Hadassah physicians and scientists received ISF individual research grants while 12 received biomedical research grants and a start-up grant from MAVRI, a nonprofit biomedical research accelerator comprising a collaboration among the ISF, Israel’s Council for Higher Education and Ministry of Health, the philanthropies Yad Hanadiv and The Klarman Family Foundation, the Israeli Medical Association and 8400 The Health Network, a nonprofit that connects Israeli health tech leaders.
