NEW YORK, NY – In response to the United Nations General Assembly vote to adopt a biased and distorted Palestinian-led resolution, Carol Ann Schwartz, National President, Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, issued the following statement:

“Hadassah is dismayed by the United Nations’ vote to pass a biased and distorted resolution that fails to acknowledge Hamas’ terrorism and attack, and instead effectively calls on Israel to stop defending itself and its citizens. We thank our United States leaders for voting against this dangerous move that will embolden terrorists and reward groups who have rejected peace time and again. Israel has a right and a responsibility to protect its citizens. Hadassah will continue to stand up for Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, in front of the UN and around the world.”
