NEW YORK, NY – In response to an Iranian missile strike on Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, Israel, Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, released the following statement by Carol Ann Schwartz, National President:

“Hadassah hospitals are accepting patients from Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. Our hospitals have been doing intensive preparedness work to provide ongoing patient care in underground hospitals and protected areas and to receive mass casualties. An Iran with nuclear capabilities that intentionally targets civilians for death and mass destruction is a grave threat to Israel, the Middle East and the world. We send strength to the people of Israel.”
