NEW YORK, NY – Israel’s Ministry of Health has given the Hadassah Medical Organization, the Jerusalem-based medical center of Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, top marks across a variety of annual performance indices in the Ministry’s 2025 Quality Index Report.
The Ministry ranked the medical center’s Ein Kerem hospital #1 in Israel for saving the lives of patients who have undergone bypass surgery and #1 in the Jerusalem region for immediate care for stoke victims, while the medical center’s Mount Scopus hospital received the highest score among Israel’s community hospitals for preventing repeat visits to the emergency room.
The Quality Index Report, published annually by Israel’s Ministry of Health, examines a host of data directly tied to the quality of medical care that Israel’s hospitals provide to their patients.

Among the other areas in which the Hadassah Medical Organization received top marks in the Israel health ministry report:
- From the moment they are admitted until the time a CT or MRI imaging test is performed, stroke patients at the Hadassah Medical Organization wait approximately 22 minutes – 10 minutes less than the average wait time at Israeli hospitals.
- Doctors at the Hadassah Medical Organization perform an acute ischemic stroke risk assessment for 90 percent of patients with atrial fibrillation.
- The rate at which Hadassah Medical Organization doctors detect suspicious tissue (polyps) during colonoscopies meets the index with distinction with a prominent score.
