Welcome to Hadassah Suffolk, located on Long Island, New York, and home to seven chapters and over 3,000 members. Although small in geographic size, we are a strong, energetic and empowered region! We offer many opportunities to learn, lead and make a difference in our community, the US, Israel and the world.
We support Hadassah’s mission to strengthen our connection to Israel, bringing healing and justice to the world. As a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for the land and people of Israel, we enhance the health of people globally by supporting the gold standard of medical care and cutting-edge research at Hadassah’s hospitals in Jerusalem. Hadassah empowers its members and supporters through opportunities for personal growth, education, advocacy and Jewish continuity.
Over the past several years, Hadassah Suffolk has worked to develop new programming and fundraising initiatives. Beginning in May 2024, Hadassah Suffolk joined with Hadassah Nassau to move medical research forward through the Hadassah Walks Long Island for Stem Cell Research and Beyond event. We have also created Henrietta Szold's Book Club, which is a luncheon and group discussion hosted by our Patchogue Chapter on books by Jewish authors or topics related to Judaism. We have reinvigorated our Seaport Chapter and look forward to their engaging programming.

- Learn about the amazing advances in medical research and hands-on patient care at our two hospitals in Jerusalem;
- Speak up and speak out to advocate for women’s health equity, ensure reproductive rights, combat antisemitism and strengthen US-Israel relations. - Support Hadassah’s youth villages in Israel for vulnerable, refugee and immigrant youth, and
