Hadassah Central Pacific Coast is where Northern California women have fun and make friends, while demonstrating our pride and passion for Hadassah. Join us and find your place here!
Our region spans from the wine country in Northern California down south 150 miles through San Francisco and Silicon Valley to the Monterey Peninsula. From the Pacific Ocean, we head east 250 miles through the East Bay, Sacramento and Reno, Nevada. Our 14 chapters have over 7,000 members, including young women’s groups. We come together in camaraderie to support Hadassah’s lifesaving work in Israel, the US and the world through our many local programs and Israel trips. We join together to advocate and educate about issues we care about in Sacramento legislators’ offices and with US legislators, fighting for issues affecting women, families and the Jewish people. Join us today!
We are a diverse group of women from California's Central Coast (Monterey) to the northern reaches of the San Francisco Bay Area. We have active chapters in Monterey/Salinas, the Silicon Valley (Sequoia), Diablo Valley (Walnut Creek and surrounding), Tri City (Fremont/Union City/Newark), Solano and Napa Counties and the North Bay (Santa Rosa). Our region extends to the east to Sacramento (and even to Reno) and down the Central Valley to Fresno.
Free online gathering of Bay area Jewish women, members of Solano-Napa Hadassah and other chapters, Congregation B'nai Israel, Chabad Solano. Program includes several guest speakers, a Hadassah moment, round-table discussion and other activities.
Join your 2019 and 2022 Hadassah/Momentum Cohorts and Friends for an evening of art, wine and havdallah. Make a fused glass mezuzzah or a ceramic seder plate while reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
Learn how to prepare FALAFEL with Faith Kramer, a local food writer and recipe developer and author of the cookbook "52 Shabbats: Friday Night Dinners Inspired by a Global Jewish Kitchen". Falafel and side salads will be served.
Join us as we will be assembling and distributing Mishloach Manot bags for our elderly community in the East Bay. The mitzvah of making Mishloach Manot bags is a tradition to ensure our family, friends, and community have enough for the Purim feast.
Sequoia Chapter invites you to another of Ellen Bob's exciting book reviews. Ellen will be reviewing Shanda by author Letty Cottin Pogrebin; writer, activist and a founding editor of Ms magazine.
