Welcome to Hadassah Chicago-North Shore, where women across the greater Chicagoland area come together to make a tangible difference in our world. Together, we are advocating for women and families here in the US and in Israel, healing and saving lives through supporting Hadassah’s hospitals in Israel, furthering our Jewish learning, growing our leadership skills and nurturing one another.
Regardless of your age or life stage, there is a place for you to feel at home among our 11,000 members and 16 chapters. Together, we are making miracles happen. Take a look at what we’re doing and join us today.
Welcome to Hadassah Chicago-North Shore! We are filled to the brim with creative, insightful, diligent women who move Hadassah’s mission forward every day. If you are not already a member, please join us. The 11,000 members and Associates in our region live all over the Chicagoland area and represent every age and stage of life. If you are already a member, I encourage you to try at least one new something with Hadassah this year.

Join us for an amazing theatrical experience celebrating the Iranian-Jewish immigrant experience through traditions and humor. Written and performed by Emmy Award nominee Michael Shayan and directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel.
Join us for an informative morning with Avi Ben-Hur, Scholar-in-Residence with Classrooms Without Borders as he unpacks Israel’s rapidly shifting political landscape: the major parties, key personalities, and core issues that will shape voter choices
Join us for a panoramic view of history through a deeply unique human lens as we are guided through a private docent-led tour of innovative exhibits that showcase the stories of Holocaust survivors’ courage, hope, and humanity.
Join us as we create beautiful one-of-a-kind glass-infused dishes under the direction of local artist Debbie Steiner. All guidance and materials are included. You will have the choice to make a 3" x 3" or 4" x 6" glass dish to brighten up your home.
Join Hadassah Associates for a lox and bagel breakfast and practice your target shooting skills at the range! Your registration includes breakfast, a pre-shooting safety briefing, and instruction by an experienced instructor.
Families and friends ages 7+ are invited to join us for a tikkun olam event touring a Jewish regenerative farm and educational center followed by a hands-on experience! The farm grows and donates organic produce, provides education, and more.
Join us for an artistic afternoon where you will create your own 4x4" mosaic! All tools and materials will be supplied, but feel free to bring any bits of glass, beads, metal, or ceramic that you want to use. Space is limited.
