Carol Goodman Kaufman of Worcester, Mass. sits on the Youth Aliyah B'nai Mitzvah Committee Team.
Carol has held numerous portfolios within Hadassah, including as chair of Youth Aliyah, chair of Hadassah Academic College and chair of the national Programming Department. In her home chapter, she runs the community-wide program "Get Your 'Z' On: Zionism That You Didn't Learn in Hebrew School" and the Israeli literature book club. She also previously served on the Kol Hokovod Team in the Department of Donor Experience and Major Gifts Philanthropy. Outside of Hadassah, Carol currently chairs the Latino-Jewish Roundtable of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Central Mass. She was the founding chair of the Domestic Violence Task Force for the Jewish Community of Central Mass. Carol holds a PhD in industrial and organizational psychology. While a post-doctoral fellow in criminology at Northeastern University, she wrote the book Sins of Omission: The Jewish Community's Reaction to Domestic Violence.
