In May, Hadassah International Executive Director Jorge Diener traveled to Argentina with a delegation of COVID-19 experts from the Hadassah Medical Organization. This extraordinary group had fought the pandemic in Israel for months on end. Motivated by Hadassah’s humanitarian mission, the specialists spent a week meeting with hundreds of healthcare professionals, nurses, scientists and policy makers in a country struggling to make progress in the fight against COVID-19. Through their selfless actions, the Hadassah team gave the Argentinians hope linked to tools, resources, ideas and experience.
