The Hadassah Medical Organization awarded eight staff members the Medicine With a Soul Prize at a ceremony at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem.
The recipients are: Dr. Josh Schroeder, director of spine surgery; Shimon Kadosh, emergency room nurse at Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus; Dr. Bruria Raccah, clinical pharmacist in the Department of Cardiology, Hadassah Ein Kerem; Tehila Gefen, nurse in the Department of Neurology, Hadassah Ein Kerem; Dr. Itay Perets, senior surgeon and joint replacement expert at Hadassah Mount Scopus; Galit Moyal, secretary in the Internal Medicine Outpatient unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem; Dr. Mahmoud Gaber, catheterization technician in the Department of Cardiology at Hadassah Mount Scopus, and Linoy Dahan, secretary to the director of the Emergency Medicine Department, Hadassah Mount Scopus.
Hadassah National President Carol Ann Schwartz said, "Thank you to each and every one of you for everything you do for Hadassah. It's my honor to stand before you on behalf of Hadassah's 300,000 members, Associates and supporters across the United States."

Prof. Yoram Weiss, MD, HMO’s director general, thanked the awardees along with all Hadassah workers.
"An organization is infrastructure, buildings and equipment, but it is mainly the people who make it,” he said. “Medicine with a soul happens here every day, every hour."
