Hadassah Members Drive Meaningful Support to End Antisemitic Teachings Abroad

Through education and advocacy, we have the power to fight antisemitism. The teaching of antisemitism and hatred endangers us all. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) uses textbooks filled with antisemitic and anti-Israel bigotry in their schools for Palestinian children. The Peace and Tolerance in Palestinian Education Act would hold UNRWA accountable through an annual report on the content of these textbooks.

Thanks to the legislator meetings and letters of Hadassah advocates, eleven new bipartisan members of Congress -- Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-WI-06), Rep. Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR-At Large), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21), Rep. Kathy Manning (D-NC-06), Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY-11), Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY-15), Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL-17), Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA-03), Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO-02), Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA-05) and Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA-04) -- signed on to support the Peace and Tolerance in Palestinian Education Act this month, building momentum for this important bill.

Help us protect children from hatred and antisemitism and build a more peaceful world. Urge your representative to support the Peace and Tolerance in Palestinian Education Act today!
