Like many, you may be feeling an increased sense of stress, isolation, unease, grief and even trauma. Women have been particularly affected by the pandemic, from increased caregiving responsibilities to job losses. Join us for Women and COVID-19: From Trauma to Resilience to learn actionable skills for coping with trauma of all kinds from an expert — Dr. Shiri Ben-David, director of the Rehabilitation Psychology Internship Program at the Hadassah Medical Organization. Hadassah Magazine Executive Editor Lisa Hostein will interview best-selling author and journalist Anita Diamant, whose most recent book, Period. End of Sentence., explores the cultural taboos and perceived shame surrounding menstruation — and champions an emerging generation of activists advocating for solutions.
