October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As an organization dedicated to empowering women as well as fostering good health around the world, Hadassah is deeply committed to education and awareness, advocacy and support for groundbreaking research at the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO).  Listen to an updated podcast episode of Hadassah On Call, featuring Hadassah experts on breast cancer research and treatment.

This year, HMO is presenting at a not-to-be-missed live webinar from the Israel Embassy with the National Cancer Institute on Wednesday, October 27 at 4 pm ET. Innovation in Breast Cancer Research and Treatment will feature Dr. Shani Paluch-Shimon, director of Breast Oncology at Hadassah’s hospitals, among other speakers, with a special introduction from National President Rhoda Smolow.

As the two chefs discuss the merits of preparing Jewish classics, holiday foods and exotic global recipes in the Instant Pot, Shoyer will walk participants through one of the book's recipes and answer questions.
