Tiny Terror Victim, Saved by Hadassah, Returns to Pediatrics to "Pay it Forward"

It has been about two years since the Hadassah Medical Organization’s trauma surgeons and pediatric intensive care specialists miraculously saved the life of three-year-old Tahel, who was asleep in her car seat when a terrorist’s Molotov cocktail crashed through the back window of her car and engulfed her in flames.

Now a fully recovered five-year-old, Tahel recently returned to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem to bring gifts to the young children who must spend their holiday in the hospital. Accompanied by her mother and older brother, Tahel was happy to express her gratitude for her good fortune and “pay it forward.”

Listen to Tahel’s miraculous story.
