More than 500 people came together for Hadassah’s special program to mark the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023, terror attacks. The program highlighted what Hadassah is doing now and the work of our members and chapters this past year. It was a time to honor those lost, to find solace and to reaffirm our commitment to healing, to hope and to Israel.
Sheryl Sandberg, Lean In founder, filmmaker (Screams Before Silence) and philanthropist, joined us, along with remarkable speakers, including:
- Carol Ann Schwartz, Hadassah National President
- Ellen Finkelstein, Hadassah CEO
- Yehonatan Ben Tzur, one of the people severely injured in the New Year's Day car ramming attack in New Orleans
- Baruch and Mina Cohen, from their beloved kibbutz — Baruch was one of the first October 7 patients treated at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem
