Overview

Stretching from north of Houston (The Woodlands and Conroe) to Pearland and Sugar Land and down south, our chapter is comprised of 15 groups. Meetings are held in the evenings, mornings and afternoons. We offer education and study groups, entertainment, cooking and theater, and discussions about current events and Jewish-related topics.

Attracting vibrant members of all ages, our chapter works to connect and empower Jewish women to bring powerful change. Thanks to the diversity of the 15 groups within our chapter, there are many opportunities for personal growth and leadership, advocacy, advancing Jewish continuity and building friendships, all while supporting Hadassah's imperative work.

Message from the
Chapter President

Welcome to the Houston Chapter! Houston has nearly 4000 members. We have 15 groups within the Chapter. We stretch from Galveston to Conroe and Clear Lake to Katy, so we reach a very large area. There are groups for all ages as well as some for seniors and a group for young women. Each group determines its meeting times, so some meet at night, and some during the day. This gives everyone the opportunity to find a group and time convenient to their own lifestyle. We have many special interest groups including book clubs, movie groups, study groups and Mah Jongg games, all meeting on a regular basis. We have something for everyone!
