Welcome to the Houston Chapter, home to nearly 4,000 members across 15 groups. We encompass a very large geographic area that stretches from Galveston to Clear Lake and from Conroe to Katy, including Houston. We have groups that meet during the day, some during the evening and on weekends. Groups include movie nights, study groups, book clubs and mah-jongg games.
Hadassah is a wonderful organization that improves the health and lives of people in our community and in communities across the country, in Israel and worldwide through educational programs and advocacy. Hadassah’s programs and priorities are focused on:
- Advancing health and medicine in Israel and the US
- Promoting healthy living in the US
- Social advocacy
- 360° of Healing, The Full Circle Campaign (Round Building infrastructure, medicine and care)
- Youth programs: Youth Aliyah and Young Judaea
The Houston Chapter is actively looking to expand our community involvement and programming that will enable our members to volunteer as Hadassah representatives. We take pride in our partnership with Second Servings and being part of the Food and Faith Coalition, the ERJCC and Dress for Success.
