Hadassah Greater Southwest (GSW) includes Texas, Oklahoma, and Shreveport, LA. We span the beautiful Gulf Coast, the stunning Texas Hill Country, panoramic farms and ranches, and of course, towns and cities of all sizes, including Houston, the fourth largest city in the US. We are known for our fabulous food: Tex-Mex, BBQ, seafood and great Southern specialties such as chicken fried steaks and biscuits with gravy. We are also known for our fabulous music with everything from classical to country western to Tejano.
Our 9,000+ members and male Associates are known for their hospitality, friendliness and passion for Hadassah. Join in the fun and try out one of our chapters and groups. Each one is as diverse as our region and there is sure to be one that is a perfect fit for you. As Hadassah members, we support Hadassah's world-class hospitals in Jerusalem where cutting-edge research and innovative treatments are helping to treat diseases impacting people worldwide. We support youth programs such as Camp Young Judaea and Youth Aliyah. We support a strong US-Israel partnership. We advocate for women’s issues, voting rights and equal opportunities for all.
We invite you to join our sisterhood in Hadassah Greater Southwest. Come experience the fun!
