Hadassah Greater Southwest (GSW) includes Texas, Oklahoma, and Shreveport, LA. We span the beautiful Gulf Coast, the stunning Texas Hill Country, panoramic farms and ranches, and of course, towns and cities of all sizes, including Houston, the fourth largest city in the US. We are known for our fabulous food: Tex-Mex, BBQ, seafood and great Southern specialties such as chicken fried steaks and biscuits with gravy. We are also known for our fabulous music with everything from classical to country western to Tejano.

Welcome to Hadassah Greater Southwest, where a diverse group of women from all over Texas, (except for El Paso), the state of Oklahoma and Shreveport, Louisiana, are part of an organization that gives women the opportunity to make a difference in the world.
What's in Your Medicine Cabinet? Guest speaker Abby Wright will give us the scoop on medications, supplements, and over the counter meds. This includes lowdown on what is okay or not with the medications we take.
Join us for to learn about the impactful work of Hadassah and the exciting opportunities Camp Young Judaea offers. Featuring age-appropriate (children aged 2-14) crafts and activities, festive snacks, community, and the spirit of the holiday.
Join us for 2 mini tournaments (with 5 rounds of play), a delicious catered lunch, and a great silent auction! You must be able to play 4 hands in 55 minutes. Non-tournament/social tables are welcome. Please come with your own group of 4- 5 players.
Enjoy an evening of friendly chili tasting (no competition here) & learn about the unexpected Jewish immigration stories that shaped the Wild West. Open to current & prospective Hadassah Associates – bring your friends, sons, dads, brothers, uncles!
Please bring your favorite dairy Hanukkah item and recipe to share as we decorate Boatkin-style tote bags! Everyone will also have the opportunity to have their name or monogram embroidered on our bags by a local embroidery company, Localcorkco.
