Hadassah Public Relations Director's Daughter Heroically Assists Stabbing Victim in Jaffa on March 8

Emily Young, 26, the eldest daughter of Hadassah’s National PR Director Renee Young, came to the rescue of a stabbing victim in Jaffa on March 8. Young, who works as a TV producer in Israel, recalls, “I was coming out of work and I heard someone yelling ‘There’s a terrorist and he just stabbed someone…’ so I called the police and the ambulance.  Then I saw a man with stab wounds lying on the ground so I took off my jacket and put it around his eyes and applied pressure.”  Young accompanied the man to the hospital where she learned that his pregnant wife also had been stabbed. According to US and international news reports, this was only one episode in a day of deadly violence which claimed four lives.
