Highlights from Israel, fun for Hanukkah and more

Hadassah members and leaders returned from our 100th National Convention — Together in Israel: Our Pride. Our Purpose. — energized, empowered and inspired. Now we are thrilled to bring that experience to you at home!  Watch and share these highlight videos that put you at the center of the action, including Hadassah Pride featuring moving patient stories from the Hadassah Medical Organization and our Youth Aliyah villages, and Hadassah Honors, with award recipients Marlene Post and First Lady of the State of Israel Michal Herzog.

Please note that due to upcoming holidays, there will be no Hadassah@home the week of December 26. The next Hadassah@home will come to you on January 11, 2023.

Advocacy this Hanukkah

Shine a light this Hanukkah: In order to counter antisemitism, it must first be understood and defined. Celebrate the festival of lights by joining Hadassah in dispelling the darkness in partnership with the Shine A Light campaign. Michele Weiner-Merbaum, Hadassah member and Atlanta-based caterer, shows how to bring international flair to your Hanukkah celebration, with fun, easy toppings for all ages and palates.

Upcoming Hadassah Magazine Discussion:Live with Zibby Owens an online conversation between Executive Editor Lisa Hostein and book maven, best-selling author and podcaster Zibby Owens. Owens's growing media company includes a publishing house and a number of podcasts, most notably the award-winning daily show Moms Don't Have Time to Read Books and her recent best seller Bookends: A Memoir of Love, Loss and Literature. Celebrate a major Hadassah milestone! You're invited to watch a joyous online program: Hadassah Loves Educators: Inaugural Celebration of Our New Educators Council. Hadassah's new Educators Council will bring together educators of all levels and types, providing the necessary tools to support the future and stability of Judaism, Zionism and Israel through education, networking, engagement and advocacy. Hear celebratory remarks from National President Rhoda Smolow, CEO Naomi Adler, educators Gil Troy and Rachel Raz, Council Co-chairs Gail Hammerman and Karen Bloom, as well as musical entertainment.
