Before COVID, Hadassah National Board member Anastasia Torres-Gil was an amateur gardener at best. But during the pandemic, she found that gardening was a great release for her nervous tension. Making way for the fresh blooms reminded her of the importance of her volunteer work at Hadassah and the importance of nurturing new members.
