About our guest(s)

Dr. Anna Woloski Wruble is an experienced nurse, midwife, senior lecturer, and healthcare professional with a focus on sexual health and oncology. She holds a BA in Health Sciences and Renaissance Literature from Touro College, a BSN from Columbia University, and an MEd and EdD in Nursing Education, specializing in curriculum development, from Teacher’s College, Columbia University.

Dr. Ofer Gofrit is the chair of the Urology Department at the Hadassah Medical Organization. A senior urologist, Dr. Gofrit specializes in minimally invasive urologic oncology and brings nearly four decades of medical experience to his practice. He earned his MD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and later completed a PhD and residency in urology at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical School. He then pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology at the University of Chicago. He was appointed a full professor at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical School in June 2021.

Dr. Shiri Ben-David is the chief psychologist at the Hadassah Medical Organization and the head of the neuropsychology MA program at the Hadassah Hebrew university. She started her career as a rehabilitation psychologist at Hadassah in 2004. She completed her doctoral studies at Bar-Ilan University in 2008 and is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the Hadassah-Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Ariel Tenenbaum is the head of the pediatric department and director of the Down syndrome clinic at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem. A graduate of Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical School, he completed his pediatric residency at the same institution, where he continues to serve as a senior pediatric consultant and educator.

Dr. Saar Hashavya is currently the head of the Pediatric Emergency Department at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem. He earned a B.S. in Biology and Life Sciences, summa cum laude, from the Hadassah Hebrew University of Jerusalem and then pursued an M.D. at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical School. Following medical school, he completed an elective at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York before undertaking a rotating internship at Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva. Dr. Hashavya completed a residency in pediatrics at Hadassah Hebrew University Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Australia.
